Children from Central America, the Caribbean and Ecuador participated in the “Gardens of Values” day organized by the Samsung volunteers.
In order to promote positive community models, Samsung held its second “Garden of Values” volunteer campaign, imparting the principles and social values in primary schools in Central America, the Caribbean and Ecuador.
“Samsung is focused on providing children and young people with value-added learning opportunities through the development of social skills, such as the promotion of principles and values to achieve their inclusion and participation as responsible citizens. The activity of planting values in the education of children gives us the opportunity to sow a “seed” of tolerance, responsibility, honesty, collaboration, solidarity, respect for diversity and the environment, to contribute to their formation as men and women of good”

During one morning, Samsung volunteers, along with Glasswing International, gave a series of workshops on the importance of recognizing values and putting them into practice in everyday life.
In Panama 25 children from the Juan E. Jiménez Educational Center, located in Cerro Azul with 33 volunteers Samsung, participated in a dynamic activity of conferences to identify values and anti-values, they also received guidance to solve situations in which they put themselves at risk.
The session closed with a fun activity, such as planting seeds and plants by students and volunteers, who were responsible for renovating their facilities and green areas creating the value garden.
Samsung promotes the positive impact through technology in education and has also found new tools to strengthen communities with scarce resources in their inclusion in a training beyond the academy.
